Meet the Instructors

Rebecca Johansson is a project management professional with more than 20 years of experience leading projects across the energy, health care and information technology sectors. Her work includes capital projects, system implementations, change management and employee engagement initiatives. Throughout her career, Rebecca has applied project management principles to complex organizational needs, helping teams coordinate priorities, manage change and deliver meaningful outcomes. She also volunteered to lead the process that secured a federal grant supporting the development of children’s mental health services in Harris County. Rebecca brings practical, cross-industry project leadership experience into the classroom, helping learners build the planning, communication and problem-solving skills needed to manage projects effectively in real-world settings.

Sharla Miller is a management consulting and information technology professional with more than 30 years of experience leading large programs, project turnarounds, system integrations and business transformation initiatives. She is a certified SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.

Sharla’s work spans a range of industries, including energy, finance, telecommunications, manufacturing and retail. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations navigate complex change, align cross-functional teams and strengthen project delivery through Agile practices and strategic program management. Sharla brings extensive consulting, technology and transformation experience into the classroom, helping learners develop the leadership, collaboration and project management skills needed to guide complex initiatives and support organizational change.

Scott Randall is the Americas director for GBMC, where he helps organizations improve performance through stronger project and risk management. With more than 30 years of experience spanning project management, financial and operational risk, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, strategic planning and capital project development, Scott brings a broad understanding of how organizations navigate complex business decisions.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked with oil and gas, electric power and service companies in the United States and internationally, including Shell, Marathon, Duke Energy International, GDF Suez, BG, PdVSA, Pemex and Aramco. His work focuses on helping organizations identify, assess and manage major risks while strengthening decision-making and long-term performance. Scott is also the author of Energy, Risk and Competitive Advantage: The Information Imperative. He brings his experience in project leadership, risk analysis, and strategic planning into the classroom, helping learners understand how effective project management supports informed decisions and successful outcomes.
