Cox School B.B.A. Program No. 25 in the U.S.
Through rankings in categories of career, academics, and admissions, P&Q ranked the SMU Cox B.B.A. as number 25 in the nation.
Dallas (SMU) April 3, 2026 – The Cox School of Business B.B.A. degree program ranks No. 25 in the national rankings of , published March 23, 2026. The Cox School rose five points from 30 in the same ranking last year. The publication ranked 110 business schools from across the U.S. this year and 104 last year.
This is the only national business school undergraduate ranking that uses a combination of data provided by participating business schools plus feedback from each school’s B.B.A. alumni to determine rankings. The measures admissions and job placement data (weighted at 33.3% each). It also surveys each school’s alumni (this year it was Classes of 2021, 2022 and 2023) to determine the academic experience scores, which also weights at 33.3%.
SMU Cox earned especially strong marks in two key areas - #21 for Academic Experience and #23 for Career Outcomes - highlighting a rigorous, analytics driven curriculum taught by expert faculty and reinforced through hands on learning experiences that prepare students for real world business challenges. The result: highly prepared, high quality business talent ready to make an immediate impact.
