Thierry Tirado
Teaching Professor of French
World Languages and Literatures
Thierry Tirado has been working at SMU since 2012. He teaches beginner, intermediate, and advanced French courses in person and online. Prof. Tirado has also taught at UT-Arlington and EL Centro College in Dallas. He has areas of special interest in French literature and culture, the French Naturalist Movement, and Legal and Business French. Previously, Prof. Tirado served as the Assistant Director of SMU Abroad's program in France, where he taught courses on the History of Paris and French Gastronomy.
