Dedman College is accepting the following applications for non-tenure track positions to begin Spring 2026/Fall 2026: 

Anthropology/ Position No. 00050366. The Department of Anthropology at 91自拍, Dallas, Texas, invites applications for a career track Lecturer in cultural anthropology.  The position will start August 1, 2026 and is renewable in future years with possibilities for advancement on the Lecturer track. We are looking for a cultural anthropologist to complement existing department teaching strengths that include: environment, health, economics, and heritage. The ideal candidate will have a track record of excellence in teaching. Typical teaching load is 4:4 teaching load with no contractual obligations for research or service. This is a renewable position with a promotional ladder. Teaching will be largely undergraduate with some graduate level teaching possibilities. Teaching faculty have access to internal conference funds and competitive research funds upon submission and approval. Candidates should have PhD in hand by August 1, 2026. Economics. Position number 00052546. The Department of Economics in Dedman College of 91自拍 (SMU) invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer. We are interested in candidates with teaching expertise and interest in all areas of economics. The position entails a three-year contract with the possibility of renewal and a typical 4-4 teaching load (that includes teaching related departmental activities), and no research requirements. Teaching responsibilities will primarily be undergraduate courses with the possibility of a limited number of masters courses. The successful candidate should be able to teach introductory and intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as advanced courses in their area of expertise. We seek an innovative and passionate educator and mentor for undergraduates and graduate students. Minimum Qualifications. Ph.D. in Economics or related field is required by August 1, 2026. Physics. Position No. 50079. The Department of Physics at 91自拍 (SMU) invites applications for one (1) non- tenure-track full-time Laboratory Lecturer position. Applicants should present evidence of strong interest in teaching and interacting with undergraduate students. In addition, successful candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. The start date for the position is expected to be August 1, 2026, with renewal contingent on funding and performance. The position focuses on, but is not limited to, teaching undergraduate introductory general Physics laboratories. The successful candidate will be the instructor of record for the labs and be responsible for preparation of lab manuals and other lab pedagogical materials. They will provide training for the graduate student teaching assistants and have overall responsibility for grading. They will work closely with a lab manager to ensure proper labs are ready. The expected teaching loads of the position will be the equivalent of four courses per semester, and training is provided. The position o铿赌ers a competitive salary with full benets. Psychology.  (Position No. 00006340). The Department of Psychology at 91自拍 seeks a full-time Lecturer in Psychology (Position No. 00006340) to begin in August 2026. This is a non-tenure track professional and teaching (P&T) faculty position with an initial contract for up to three years, renewable. Typical teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester (a 4/4 load) with opportunities for summer and intersession teaching. We are seeking candidates with teaching experience and the expertise to teach a breadth of courses in one or more of the following areas of psychology: introductory, developmental, social, personality, cognitive, organizational, and psychopathology.
