Undergraduate visits
Looking for a deeper look at undergraduate engineering? Attend one of our specialized visit programs designed for prospective students and families. Or pop by for our daily tour, we'd love to show you around our beautiful campus.

Information sessions and tours for prospective students are offered Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are not available during University Holidays. During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet with a member of the Lyle Recruitment and Strategic Enrollment office and receive a tour of the engineering facilities.

Daily Visits
In addition to the Lyle Engineering Academic Information Session, through the SMU Admissions Office are offered Monday through Friday, allowing you to tailor activities to your interests, to get an authentic Mustang-life experience. Each daily visit includes a 30-minute information session, immediately followed by a one-hour campus tour.

Mustang Day gives you a 360° introduction to SMU and is the perfect place to start your college search. Learn about admission, scholarships, financial aid, campus life, and what makes an SMU education distinctive.
You'll also hear from current students, connect with deans and faculty, and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

For 9th through 11th graders, SpringFest is an introduction to SMU and the college admissions process. This one-day, on-campus program includes workshops, academic sessions and a campus tour.
