Claire AndersonResearch Interests:
Claire studies the efficacy of interventions for psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. She is especially interested in psychotherapeutic techniques that influence reward‑based behavior and help improve symptoms of anhedonia. She also hopes to investigate how life stress contributes to the onset and maintenance of depressive symptoms.

Road to the Moody School:
Claire completed her B.A. in psychology and mathematics at Wellesley College. After graduating, she worked as a research assistant in a lab studying the biopsychology of depression using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET). In her free time, she enjoys running, biking and spending time outdoors.
