A Discussion with Rev. Dr. Larry Duggins, Chancellor of the Methodist Collegiate Church (MCC) and Dr. Bryan Stone, Dean of Perkins School of Theology

In this CHAP, Perkins alum Rev. Dr. Larry Duggins will be interviewed by Dean Stone about the Methodist Collegiate Church (MCC), of which Duggins serves as Chancellor. The MCC is a relatively new association for connecting and organizing autonomous Methodist churches, especially among those no longer connected to the United Methodist Church. There are important ecclesiological and ethical questions to be asked here, especially in relation to the recent schism in the United Methodist Church. We will seek to understand and explore the mission and methods of this new movement within the Wesleyan tradition.
